Much of this area is accessable to a strong day hiker though if that is more your style. There is access to Upper Twin Lake to get water and even swim … the ridge of the B.C. To me, these moments are the definition of elation … you don’t get this in your day to day. I had a spectacular day, but I would recommend checking the weather and being ready to not be up here and exposed in bad weather ! Ok, we lucked out on the weather the first two days but we woke up to heavy cloud cover in the morning of Day 3. I was just looking through the pictures to get ready to write this, and even now my heart rate quickens just thinking about it. There aren’t difficult rock scrambles or water crossings … it is just a lot of steep uphill climbing.
